All Nations Intercessors (ANI) is part of the prayer movement in South Korea started 20 years ago by an anointed intercessor named Sarah Lee. In 2008 when the PRMI team of John Chang, Peyton Johnston and I went to Korea to provide teaching on the Holy Spirit at the Hallelujah Church, Ben Torrey asked ANI to provide intercessory prayer covering.
During that gathering, there was a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit that took place upon the 150 Korean pastors and church leaders from many different denominations. This outpouring of the Holy Spirit was to result seven years later in the birthing of the Dunamis Fellowship Korea.
An Invitation to Teach
Last October(2016), when Paul Stokes, Cindy Strickler and I came to teach at the Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit Conference, I was invited to offer a one-day seminar for the ANI intercessors on the Prayer Strategy for Jesus’ Victory over Radical Islam. This one-day event led to the invitation to return and offer the Mountain Top Equipping Camp to a select group of ANI intercessors. This was an intensive 5 day equipping event.
The team consisted of Ben Torrey, Cindy Strickler, Martin Boardman and myself joined by Sara Lee, the Director of ANI. Sarah is a powerfully anointed prayer leader and visionary leader.

During this amazing event, the Holy Spirit did strategic work in equipping the army of intercessors to defeat demonic strongholds and advance the Kingdom of God.
Sarah, with Ben, Cindy and Martin all prayed for me as I stepped into the gap with this teaching, which often stirs up Satan’s intense opposition.
The teaching was based on the Mountain Top Equipping Camp manual and the two books which I have written. The teaching was very relevant as the Korean Church and Korean society are facing opposition from demonic strongholds based on Islam, liberal progressivism and communism in North Korea.
There was one moment when we experienced a major demonic attack. This happened as I was naming the strongholds that were attacking the church in Korea.
The attack hit me very hard as I was teaching – I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Cindy and Martin, who were on the frontlines of intercession as I was teaching, were hit hard as well. Such attacks are intended by Satan to induce fear and to frighten us away from cooperating with the Holy Spirit in engagements. They are overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ! What is more, this attack gave us a great opportunity to debrief what had happened and to demonstrate the need to have a prayer shield.
Furthermore, the group received experiential verification not just of the reality of the demonic realm but more importantly of the reality that Jesus Christ defeated Satan on the Cross and shares His authority over the demonic with us, His coworkers.

Ben Torrey stepped in a number of times to add to the teaching and to connect it to the specific needs of Korea. He was brilliant in this role as a connector between two cultures. Here he is teaching on the strategic role of the nation of Korea in fulfilling God’s Great Commission plans.
Ben also worked throughout the event with Sarah to lead the group into the work of prayer.

Cindy did a great job teaching on the assaults which intercessors may experience in the wake of Kingdom advancement. She also helped in building cohorts, leading in forming groups and then discerning how the Holy Spirit was leading the groups into practical application. Since the majority of the participants were women, it was essential that we had anointed women on the team to make connections. Cindy has been to Korea a number of times and crossed over extremely well into the culture to provide spiritual leadership. She constantly helped me in the process of discernment of what materials needed to be taught in what order.

Martin Boardman did very well connecting to the intercessors and provided excellent, accessible teaching on forming cohorts and the dynamics of engagements. He crossed over well by using “football” (US read soccer) language to describe cohorts or teams. There were 5-6 intercessors on the wall during each session and Martin debriefed with them throughout the day, feeding their input back to the leadership team. It was exciting to see them grow in this kind of event intercession and teamwork over the week.
Experience Praying in Cohorts

Some of the prayer work took place in cohort groups so that participants could learn how to function as cohorts. At other times, the prayer work was in the Korean corporate style (sometimes called “concert”) prayer. This prayer, often led by Sarah Lee or Ben Torrey, was in Korean. Everyone would pray in unison either in Korean or in tongues.
We prayed this way to overcome Satan’s schemes in Islam. These schemes are the attempted replacement of God’s way of salvation with the deception of Islam, the attempted genocide of Jews and Christians, the attempted quenching of the winds of the Holy Spirit within Islam, which are bringing many to faith in Jesus Christ, and the establishment of the Islamic Caliphate.

Praying for those in different roles in an intercession team
On the final day of the event we moved into a remarkable time of everyone praying as a team.

This corporate prayer time was based on the picture of the battle with the Amalekites, which represents the work of the cohorts. Moses, Aaron and Hur are on the mountain interceding with Joshua fighting away in the valley below. The group started by praying for me in the Moses role of intercession. As both the team and the Korean intercessors prayed for me I was overwhelmed by the presence of Jesus Christ and knew that I was being called up into the continuing and expanding role of mobilizing, equipping and deploying this army of intercessors.
After being prayed for, I stood and sensed the leading to pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to fall upon those called into the role of Moses intercessors. Cindy, then led in praying for the Aaron intercessors. Ben prayed for Hur intercessors and Martin for the communicators and organizers. The Holy Spirit fell on everyone there. It was amazing. I sensed throughout this event we were connecting with yet another major stream of prayer – the Korean Church stream.
Moments of exalted praise and celebration punctuated this teaching event that was extremely intense.

Results of this Event
I believe that what happened at this Mountain Top Equipping Camp for Korean intercessors was as follows:
First, the Lord is connecting the Holy Spirit’s work of prayer embodied in different parts of the Body of Christ into a unified army of intercessors needed for the prayer work of supporting the four great waves of the Holy Spirit that are converging on Jerusalem.
The Lord is doing this globally, but here I am focused on just that part of the river of God represented in the PRMI Dunamis Fellowship International. At the Mountain Top Equipping Camp held in June at the Community of the Cross, we connected in with the Jewish Messianic stream. This brought in the “One New Humanity” – born again Jews and Gentiles stream. This was mobilizing, equipping and deploying us as intercessors for the First Great Wave of the Holy Spirit which is the Jews returning to the Land of Israel and to Yeshua as the Messiah and being immersed in the Holy Spirit.
Now, in this Korean Mountain Top Camp, the connection was made both spiritually and practically to the Second Great Wave of the Holy Spirit – the “People of Chopsticks” which is equipping the Koreans, Japanese and the Chinese for taking Gospel to the Muslim world. This is also known as the “Back to Jerusalem Movement.” For over a hundred and fifty years this great move of God to win Muslims to Christ has been supported by the work of extraordinary prayer by Korean Christians. At this Equipping Camp, the Holy Spirit connected the DFI/DFK stream to All Nations Intercessors who represent an embodiment and a vanguard of this work of intercession by Koreans. The personal relationships forged, the teaching shared and shared assessment of battle fields has formed us into an allied army of intercessors. This is strategic not just for the Second Movement of the Holy Spirit – the People of Chopsticks – but for defeating demonic strongholds blocking the advancement of the Gospel worldwide.
Second, Korean intercessors were armed with fundamental concepts about Satan’s way of building demonic strongholds and the strategies and tactics of intercession and spiritual warfare to enable them to more effectively discern the enemy and receive guidance from the Holy Spirit.
The ANI intercessors are already well equipped and anointed by the Holy Spirit for this strategic level prayer work. The team and I were deeply humbled that they invited us to come and provide this teaching. They are already the world’s great intercessors and the teachers of intercession. They are our older sisters and brothers in this work of world-changing prayer.
I do believe, however, that the tactical manual and the teaching embodied in the Mountain Top Equipping Camps is not offering anything that they have not experienced and put into practice before. Rather, we gave them the theological and biblical basis and concepts, as well as the tactics and strategies of intercession and spiritual warfare that will support their work.
There were times when I felt that I was the equivalent of a professor of military history teaching a seasoned group of warriors what they had already learned on the battle field. I was simply providing a depth of knowledge and expansion of their already effective battle tactics. We saw this happening as the Koreans added to their approach of corporate unison prayer led by the Holy Spirit, the careful process of discernment and receiving guidance that takes place within cohorts. ANI already has cohorts in place so they are already well situated to put in place these practical prayer strategies. It was a new thing for them to realize that there are different prayer tactics needed for each of the three battle spaces.
Third, I felt that there has been a turning point in the global prayer movement or at least within PRMI and DFI’s role in this global movement.
For Korea, this turning point represents the reality that Satan is stepping up his attacks on Korea and the Church of Jesus Christ in Korea. It is apparent that the Devil is seeking to destroy the work of the church in Korea and the free, democratic, prosperous culture of South Korea through the strongholds of division within the Church, liberal progressivism, Radical Islam and the threat of nuclear annihilation from North Korea. There was a sober assessment of the very real threats that are being faced.
There also took place at this event the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is equipping us for a higher level of engagement in advancing the Kingdom of God.
The entire event was videotaped but I want to show a you a glimpse of several turning points that took place when the Holy Spirit was moving upon the entire group, equipping us. You really need to see the Holy Spirit in action with the Koreans to grasp what this is like. The power and presence of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is palpable and glorious. It is often beyond words, pictures, and even what video can present.
Thank you for sharing and the video! I watched it this morning. Interestingly, yesterday my devotion time was spent in Ex. 17! Here are some of the gleanings. Amalekites, skilled warriors vs. former slaves. The authority of the Rod and the sword of the Lord. The need for sustained resistance. Amalek’s hand was against the throne of the Lord, and the Lord will have war with Amalek. The Lord battles with us. End result—Amalek mowed down and disabled! Watchman Nee notes a principle of God’s working: “Whatever He wills to do, if man does not will it, He will not do it.” Ez.36:37
Also when I was praying for you all in Korea….the passage in II Kings 13:17 kept coming to me …that you were shooting “the Lord’s arrows of victory”.
