Have you heard those anointed with prophetic gifts making decrees and declarations? For instance, Dutch Sheets in his Give Him 15 video presentations often includes a prophetic decree. The Holy Spirit has anointed dutch Sheets to give these daily videos. These presentations have greatly blessed me and many others. But I have not really understood the role of making prophetic decrees. Another example is how several prophets in 2020 “declared and decreed” that President Trump would have four more years in the White House. I have often wondered, What is the biblical basis for us making such a prophetic declaration?

Lifting the Selah on the Prayer House
We are moving into a new season. As many places begin the slow process of moving out of a time of restriction, lockdown and sheltering in place, we move into what we could describe as a season of restoration.
The work of prayer and intercession is central to this restoration work and fits with the vision of the Prayer House at the Community of the Cross as being a hub for intercession. In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the PRMI Board moved to pause the capital campaign for the Prayer House back in March. But now feel the Lord is calling the ministry to lift that pause.

Praying For The Miracle Campaign To Build The PRMI Prayer House
When the Lord called my spiritual mentor Archer Torrey to build Jesus Abbey as a prayer community in South Korea, he often told me,
“If God the Father calls you to do something that you know is His will but is humanly impossible, then expect the Lord to work the miracles needed. But your role is to step out in faith, and your first work of obedience is prayer.”
Well, that is just where we are now!
In need of some miracles to accomplish the vision that God has given us!
