Guidance About How to Pray After the Death of Osama Bin Laden
Mobilizing, Equipping and Deploying Intercessors …
For this kairos moment of defeating demonic strongholds and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We must keep up the work of prayer after the killing of Osama Ben Laden.
After the death of Osama Ben Laden how is the Holy Spirit now leading us to pray?
Intercessors have been receiving much guidance. Some words particularly stand out. I submit them to you for further prayer and discernment. They point us toward some areas we need to pray into as the Holy Spirit continues to work.
“I see an enemy calling out to a band of vultures to come and pick the bones of dead men. I hear the voice of the Lord calling for the eagles to rise up and defend their nests and protect the young.”
“I sense the Lord saying, ‘Stay your course, my people. Do not be distracted by the events of the day. Stay the course and I will win the war. Pray, praise, worship, act out the victory I have won for you. We will be celebrating in due season.’”
“This really moved me. The body of Christ can either protect and love on the wounded now– the Muslim people– or we can participate with the spirit of the devourer that has been released through Bin Laden’s death. Let’s not be deceived. Jesus is weeping for His children to come Home.”
“… discerning of a ‘devourer’ really resonates with me. After I heard about bin Laden the first thing I thought of was the Scripture of when Jesus sent the demons from the possessed men into a herd of pigs, and I thought to myself, where have the demons gone that were coalescing around Bin Laden?”
“Then later I saw in prayer something that looked like black whirlwinds released into the air and they seemed terrifying and filled with hate. I have been in prayer for the Muslims now especially to come to know the love and healing of Jesus, and for protection for them and for all of us from this unleashing of these “black whirlwinds” that are seeking a place to touch down and bring chaos and destruction.”
“And I have been in prayer for Americans and Christians and others around the world for protection, for blessings and the revelation of Jesus’ love and healing so that no foothold is given to the enemy and no “black whirlwind” can gain entry.”
It is critically important that we continue to pray into this in the authority of the Name of Jesus Christ.
In Christ,
Brad
