Prayer Communique
from Rev. Dr. Zeb Bradford Long and Rev. Earl Rutledge (PRMI Board President)
November 7, 2020
“May the God of Hope fill you with joy and peace
in the power of the Holy Spirit”. Rom. 15:13
As we have prayed into our nation’s (United States’) elections it has been an intense and suspenseful week. Prayer and intercession must continue. We must continue to hold the door open for God to move, work and bring about His will for this nation.
We pray that His Kingdom will come,
and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
As we have prayed about next steps the Lord has made it clear that we are to pause, enter worship and praise and consecrate ourselves and then He will reveal the next steps. This is consistent with what we read in 2 Chronicles 20:18 where Jehoshaphat and all Judah with him are led to fall on their faces in worship, “Give thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love endures forever.” 2 Chr. 20:21
We invite you to pray for us and to join with us in a time of praise and worship as a team gathers to celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the Community of the Cross. Since there is no internet in the Prayer House, we cannot send a zoom link. Please, set apart time from 3PM EST on, at your house or wherever you are to praise and exalt Jesus as Lord and give thanks for Jesus victory over all the powers of Satan.
The name of Jesus is above every name in heaven
and on earth and below the earth.
We continue praying for:
- Humility as the Church of Jesus Christ and humility of our national leaders in submission to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- That the demonic powers that have been welcomed to attack and deceive the United States through the antichrist ideology of Marxism, occult practices and rejection God’s Law revealed in the Bible, that are leading us away from our Biblical Judeo-Christian values of our founding will be defeated.
- That evil and lies be exposed and the light of God to shine and reveal His truth of eternal life and true freedom.
- An outpouring of the Holy Spirit through the fulfillment of Acts 1:4-8 to equip the saints to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit in order that biblical faith may be restored among those who call upon your Holy Name.
That the church reorients towards the Kingdom Plans of God to fulfill the Great Commission NOW.
