When it comes to Korea there is much to pray about! Especially right now with the escalating tensions and storm clouds of war brewing over Asia.
I am convinced the Mountain Top Equipping Camp in South Korea was a part of God’s strategic plans to advance not only His Kingdom agenda in both North and South Korea but also to advance the Korean Church’s role in the global advancement of the Kingdom of God.
How do we pray into all this?
Discernment from an Intercessor
A week ago, I sent out an After Action Review of the Mountain Top Equipping Event in Korea.
The article is here for those who missed it: https://discernwith.us/3-results-from-south-korea-mountain-top-equipping-camp
An intercessor who lives in England sent the most wonderful response which is so encouraging to all of us in this great move of the Spirit that I am sharing it with all of you I believe it is the starting point for getting guidance about how to pray into the situation in Korea:
Thank you so much for sharing that Brad. God has blessed me so much watching the video. Not understanding Korean but nevertheless, I could see the Holy Spirit welcomed and at work among the Koreans.
It was humbling and challenging to see how my sisters and brothers were willing to be in God’s presence, letting Him do His work among them for such long times.
I think we are too eager to move on sometimes. I sensed God even ministering a fresh anointing upon me as Ben prayed for the Hur intercessors – in Korean, so I have no idea what he was saying, but knew God’s hand upon me.
I pray for strength and protection for the Korean intercessors. For God to lead the cohorts in Korea and may they see the victory Christ has won in their land. Amen.
I see a crown upon the head of the lady who leads intercession for ANI (just checked website again – Sarah Lee is who I mean). I see a robe of light upon her and it spreads out to pour light and power, love and holiness to all she is called into ministry with.
This is God spreading His anointing, equipping and calling. Drawing people to His heart for prayer. I can’t explain it all. It’s too breath taking, but it is powerful and effective and only God can do this. And He chooses to. He chooses to work through Sarah and those around her in this way.
I sense the crown is heavy and that is the cost of her calling. But I also sense God teaching Sarah how to hold her head in a way that makes the crown easier to wear.
His finger is under her chin and He is face to face with her, smiling His delight and encouragement. And when she feels His pain, she needs to know it is only a part of it and He bears main part; He will always absorb any she cannot bear. (Ruth)
Yes, I believe this is an affirmation that the Holy Spirit was truly at work in this amazing event. It is also the call to pray for those on the front lines of intercession in Korea during this time of growing tensions and escalating threats between North Korea and the United States.
Four Prayer Points for All Nations Intercessors
Please focus your prayers on Sarah Lee and the team of All Nations Intercessors, and on Ben Torrey and the Dunamis Fellowship Korea.
Of course, there are many other groups called to engage in this great prayer battle, but these are two that we in the DFI have been called especially to support in intercessory prayer.
Here are some suggestions of ways to pray for Sarah and Ben:
- Pray for strong protection from the deceptions and attacks of the evil one who would divert or block them from providing the apostolic leadership in prayer that they are called to in Korea and in this work of intercession.
- Pray for the anointing with the Holy Spirit to receive clear discernment about how Jesus is calling them to engage with Him at every level in advancing the kingdom of God.
- Pray that the Lord would gather around them many intercessors who can provide support and pray in agreement in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Pray into Ruth’s vision received for Sarah Lee. I affirm these prayers as Sarah is right in the vanguard of this movement.
