Intercessors Cooperating With The Holy Spirit
I invite the entire Army of Intercessors who follow Discerning the Times to align together in prayer for Israel.
Alignment is a newly discovered key for advancing the kingdom of God. For example, the key will help heal the conflict between Israel and the Arab world.
The key will also affect other kingdom advancements we pray into: overcoming the demonic stronghold of Radical Islam, and Muslims coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Dear Intercessors:
Blessings on everyone. Thanks so much for your prayers and for your participation in the engagements about which I have been writing to you.
Alfred Lord Tennyson, in his poem, “Morte D’Arthur,” has the dying King Arthur speak these famous lines:
“If thou shouldst never see my face again,
Pray for my soul. More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.” …
“If, knowing God, they lift not hands of prayer
Both for themselves and those who call them friend?
For so the whole round earth is every way
Bound by gold chains about the feet of God.”
I have always been greatly moved by these lines spoken by King Arthur.
As we have been in these prayer battles together, I am seeing more and more the power and the role of prayer in bringing God’s work and presence into the world.
That is how I interpret the stanza about the earth being “bound by gold chains about the feet of God.” I am seeing this poetic image become reality through our engagements.
The changes wrought by heaven through our prayer also let us know the strategic role of intercession. Through our petitions the Holy Spirit advances the Kingdom of God in the earth.

The week of August 12-19 was a busy week in the heavenlies! There was a backing off of threats from North Korea to attack Guam, there were violent protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, there was outrage over Trump’s naming both sides as violent and hateful, and a major swell of confusion taking place.

All Nations Intercessors (ANI) is part of the prayer movement in South Korea started 20 years ago by an anointed intercessor named Sarah Lee. In 2008 when the PRMI team of John Chang, Peyton Johnston and I went to Korea to provide teaching on the Holy Spirit at the Hallelujah Church, Ben Torrey asked ANI to provide intercessory prayer covering.
During that gathering, there was a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit that took place upon the 150 Korean pastors and church leaders from many different denominations. This outpouring of the Holy Spirit was to result seven years later in the birthing of the Dunamis Fellowship Korea.
Last October(2016), when Paul Stokes, Cindy Strickler and I came to teach at the Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit Conference, I was invited to offer a one-day seminar for the ANI intercessors on the Prayer Strategy for Jesus’ Victory over Radical Islam. This one-day event led to the invitation to return and offer the Mountain Top Equipping Camp to a select group of ANI intercessors. This was an intensive 5 day equipping event.
The team consisted of Ben Torrey, Cindy Strickler, Martin Boardman and myself joined by Sara Lee, the Director of ANI. Sarah is a powerfully anointed prayer leader and visionary leader.

Dear Intercessors:
At the beginning of this year, 2016, I published a Discerning the Times article entitled “Praying for National Leaders with the Qualities Needed to Defeat the Nemesis of Radical Islam.”
At that time there was a wide field of potential candidates.
We have now gone through the turbulent primary season, in which Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump have emerged as the two presidential front runners.
The focus has narrowed, but the need has not changed. Here is an updated version of that original call to prayer.
This is Book I in the series: A Prayer Strategy for Jesus’ Victory Over Radical Islam. It lays out Satan’s strategies. Book II, A Prayer Strategy for the Victory of Jesus Christ: Defeating the Demonic Strongholds of Radical Islam will soon follow. It gives prayer strategies to cooperate with God’s plans to overcome these demonic strongholds. Although both books focus on a specific issue, the principles given can be applied to many other spiritual conflicts.
