The Need To Continue To Pray For The “Unraveling Of Lies”

A summary of that call to prayer was:  As I have been praying this, image of the “reverse knitting” in the midst of all this.  It seemed to me that the Lord was saying,  “Pray that the woven lies that are hiding these two strongholds that are working together which are,  Liberal progressivism, and Radical Islam will come unwoven and that their demonic cover will be penetrated. And that the truth will be fully and completely known.”

I have had some powerful confirmations that we need to continue. 

Steve Aceto said this:

“I would add to Brad’s prayer and discernment points:

A.  “That the Father would raise up truth lovers and truth seekers who are ready to receive the truth,”

B.  “ that they would be quickened and made known to each other.”

C.  “Perhaps it is because truth lovers and truth seekers are scarce, or in hiding, is the opening through which the enemy is operating.”

D.   “If Jesus does not open our ears, we cannot hear the truth. “

Just this last week Doug McMurry,  told me that each week his prayer group in Virginia had been led to continue to pray for this unraveling to  take pace.  “Indeed we must continue to pray for as long as we pray the unraveling will continue.”

Doug believes that the essence of prayer is that Jesus Christ would restore to the Intercessor the original dominion that God gave our first parents before their fall into sin. When we move in this restored authority God uses us to on earth to advance His Kingdom and to defeat the powers of evil. So this prayer for unraveling of lies is an expression of this authority that we have in Jesus Christ.

I was so relived to get this guidance form Steve Aceto and from Doug McMurry as I thought I was a little off on this. Indeed this prayer has continued through me and apparently others for some time. Are there any others who have had a similar awareness?
