Two Strategic Opportunites happening in March

I have some important prayer concerns that I need to share with you.  This is more personal than the one that Martin Boardman and I just sent about the abortion issue that is already stirring up some spiritual warfare. 

We have two amazing opportunities before us:

A trip to the Vatican March 2-12, 2019  

I will be heading up the team to Rome to meet with leaders at the Vatican. We shall be discussing issues of deliverance and exorcism.  This invitation is truly extraordinary.   This could be the restoration of the relationship that PRMI (embodying the Charismatic Renewal within the Reformed and Presbyterian stream) had with the Charismatic movement in the Catholic church during 1960-1995.  This is an exploratory trip at their invitation. 

A team of people from the Dunamis Fellowship International, the PRMI Board Of Directors, and the Dunamis Fellowship Britain and Ireland will be a part of meetings with various leaders and will participate in an Ash Wednesday Mass led by Pope Francis.

My mother-in-law, is in the late stages of illness and, is in hospice care has given her blessing for my wife to join me on this trip to Rome. However, it weighs heavy on her, given that my mother-in-law might step into God’s presence while we are away, so I would appreciate prayers for this situation.   Also, we have no funds to cover this opportunity to go to Rome.  We are stepping out in faith to go, asking you to please pray for provision.

The Trip to Israel for the Global Alignment Round Table March 9-15,2019

This is the follow up to the first Alignment Round Table conference in Israel sponsored by Tikkun Global (this is the stream of the Messianic Jewish movement that embodies the work of the Holy Spirit as does PRMI). I was invited back and would love to go.  However, I felt strongly led by the Lord that this time the Rev. Cindy Strickler needed to go as the anointed Director of PRMI and the DFI as our representative, and that Martin Boardman should go not as my “Timothy,” but as the PRMI/DFI prayer mobilizer.  

At the first Alignment Round Table meeting I noticed that there was no onsite intercessory prayer cover like we always have at PRMI events. So, I offered to Tikkun that we would provide this onsite prayer covering. This would be PRMI’s offering to the event.  They accepted, and so in addition to Cindy and Martin, a team of 7 intercessors from the UK, USA, and Canada are going to the event.

These intercessors will be partnering with Israeli intercessors to model event intercession and mentor the intercessors in the work of prayer.

We received a surprise gift of $10,000 to cover part of this trip to Israel. But we still need more to meet the expenses.  The intercessors are raising their own support. 

What is God doing in these two very different events in different streams of the Kingdom of God? 

I am frankly amazed at what God is doing in opening these doors for PRMI.   I am also in great suspense as to exactly what He is doing.  It seems to me that we (PRMI) have been given a unique role in bridging some of the schisms that have torn asunder the body of Messiah/Christ for the last 1800 years.  

I believe that this is foundational  for the battle that is ahead of us against the demonic strongholds that seek to block the Kingdom of God.  The Lord clearly revealed to me that born-again Jews and Gentiles must be in unity together if we are to prevail in this 21^stcentury war with Satan.  I suspect the Lord is now calling PRMI to take part in building a bridge over another major schism in the body of Christ—Roman Catholic and Reformed.   This is all extraordinary! What is the Holy Spirit doing?  

Would you join us in praying for the two kingdom opportunities?

As a ministry we prioritize prayer and recognize that prayer is foundational to anything that we do. So would you join these two teams by committing to pray for them and the ministry opportunities they are walking into? Let the Holy Spirit guide you as you pray, but here are some suggestions:

• Pray for strong covering and protection for both of these teams as they travel and participate in both Rome and in Israel.
• Pray that the teams will listen carefully to those the Lord connects them to so that they can stay on track with His Plans.
• Pray for God’s blessing upon the meetings which have been schedules and for Divine appointments which the Lord will orchestrate.
• Pray for God to bless the Alignment conference through the gift of intercession which PRMI brings.
• Pray for open doors for further ministry opportunities both inn Rome and in Israel.
